1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Weddix you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

On first launch, Weddix may present links to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Continuing to use the Application constitutes your acceptance.

2. What Weddix Provides

Weddix is a local-first anniversary celebration prep sprint application designed for grooms and husbands who want visible progress while planning memorable celebrations. The Application provides:

• Toast (Daily Prep Quest): Prep quest titles, check-off tracking, celebration dimensions (Venue, Dining, Gift, Activity, Surprise, Other), optional due dates, Toast Streak counts, optional local alerts, and daily Voice Toast Brief recordings (up to 60 seconds).
• Plot (Idea Sprint Matrix): Celebration plot names, milestone gate dates and phases, matrix session notes, verify status (Pending / Idea Matched / Needs Rework), inspiration stills and plan stills, and Voice Plot Notes (up to 45 seconds).
• Summit (Progress Trail): Daily quest completion metrics, anniversary year summaries, month/year view selections, and compare overlay preferences.
• Toast Marks wallet: In-app balance and monthly free export usage counters stored locally on your device.
• Exports: Plot Matrix Posters, Summit Trail Charts, and Celebration Sprint Cards saved to your photo library when you request them.

Weddix does not provide cloud hosting, user accounts, data sync between devices, event booking, or professional event-planning services. Core planning data remains on your device unless you explicitly export images to your photo library.

3. License Grant and Restrictions

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of the Application on devices you own or control, for personal celebration-planning purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Application except as allowed by applicable law.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application except as allowed by applicable law.
• Remove proprietary notices from the Application.
• Use the Application for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• Bypass Toast Marks rules, in-app purchase controls, or Application security.
• Upload, capture, or attach content that infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of prep quest titles, plot names, notes, and other information you enter.
• All photos, voice recordings, and celebration details you import or capture.
• Maintaining backups of important planning materials outside the Application.
• Complying with applicable laws and the expectations of people involved in your celebration plans.
• Securing your device and managing device permissions.

5. Local Data and Your Content

All quest, plot, summit, voice, and image data you create in Weddix is stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts, cloud servers, or backend databases for your personal content.

• Uninstalling the Application removes locally stored Weddix data unless you have separately saved exports to your photo library.
• Because we do not maintain remote accounts, we cannot retrieve your data from our systems.
• Adding photos and recording voice notes within the Application does not require Toast Marks and does not transmit data off your device.

6. Device Permissions

Weddix requests device permissions only when you use related features. You may deny any permission; other features remain available except the specific action that requires that permission.

If you deny a permission and later attempt the related action, Weddix displays a brief in-app message and does not automatically open system settings.

7. Toast Marks and In-App Purchases

Weddix offers consumable in-app purchases of Toast Marks through your device's native store.

• All transactions are processed by the platform and subject to applicable refund and billing policies.
• We do not receive your payment card details.
• Toast Marks are credited to your local wallet upon purchase confirmation.
• Toast Marks are consumable, have no cash value outside the Application, and cannot be transferred to another device.
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing or Toast Mark packages at any time. Balances already purchased are not affected retroactively.

8. Exports and Free Quotas

Certain exports may be available under a monthly free quota before Toast Marks are required. Export availability, quotas, and Toast Mark costs may change in future updates. Exported images are saved to your photo library at your request and remain under your control.

9. Disclaimers

Weddix is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of planning outputs, or fitness for any particular celebration outcome.
• Local notifications depend on your device settings and may not always deliver at expected times.
• Voice recordings and exported visuals are generated from your inputs; we do not verify their suitability for any specific audience or occasion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Application, including missed reminders, lost local data, or celebration outcomes.

11. Termination

You may stop using Weddix at any time by uninstalling the Application. We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Application ends. Locally stored data remains on your device until you remove the Application.

12. Children's Use

Weddix is not directed at children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has used the Application in error, contact us at weddix@gmail.com.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in your jurisdiction of residence where consumer protections apply. Any disputes shall be resolved as permitted by applicable law.

14. Amendments

We may update these Terms to reflect app or legal changes. Material changes will be reflected by a revised effective date and made available within the Application. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
